SPH Research Support Survey

The Research Mentoring Sub-Committee of the Research & Research Training Committee conducted a brief survey of SPH Academic Staff (Levels A, B & C) to assess the types of support that is needed to increase research (publication) productivity.

A web survey was developed using SurveyMonkey online questionnaire service. Staff were sent their own unique link to the survey which they could only complete once. The first email was sent to staff on 30 March 2011. A follow up email was sent to non-responders on 5 April 2011, and again on 7 April 2011. The data collection was closed 5pm 7 April 2011.

There were 63 academic staff members of SPH that were identified as being level A, B or C. A total of 47 (75%) staff responded.
